In order to protect our family and friends we will be enforcing strict covid protocols at our wedding and we will need your help to do it... We ask that if you are experiencing any symptoms that could possibly be covid that you not attend. Even if you are vaccinated, please bring and wear a mask at all times, except for when you are eating and drinking or if you are outside and are 6 feet away from people outside of your household. What will we be doing? We will be taking everyone's temperature before they enter the church. We have asked the staff at our reception to enforce mask wearing, if you have an issue with their request please do not give them a hard time. We will have masks, hand sanitizer and clorox wipes available at both the ceremony and reception should you need them. Lastly, we are asking all of our guests who may have had a potential exposure up to 10 days prior to our wedding to receive a negative covid test before attending, see Covid testing section for more info.
Fully vaccinated people with no covid symptoms do not need to be tested prior to attending. You are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after your second dose in a 2-dose series, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine. Unvaccinated guests must follow the requirements below. In order to attend our wedding in-person, we ask everyone that has had POTENTIAL EXPOSURE anytime within the previous 10 days, to get tested and receive a negative result before attending. We define potential exposure as: Traveling on a plane or attending any gathering (of any size) with people outside of your current household, or clearly defined pod, that is indoors and without masks for any period of 15 minutes or more (Ex: riding in a car without masks, eating indoors at a restaurant, etc). Testing recommendations for potential exposure: Rapid Tests: get tested within 5-9 days after the last potential exposure event. PCR/Non-Rapid Tests: get tested within 3-7 days after the last potential exposure event.
We ask that our guests be fully present at our wedding and turn off their cellphones and cameras during our ceremony. We have hired a wonderful photographer and will share her photos with you all as soon as we have them. We also ask that you refrain from posting any photos, besides those of you and your household, on social media as we would like to be the first ones to share anything from our big day.
