We met during senior year of high school. Most days I would sit outside of my English class to work on projects and Ben would often walk by to "go to the bathroom" (he was really just avoiding class) and as he passed me in the hallway I would always say "I like your shoes". It eventually got to the point that he was really annoyed and didn't like me very much but that didn't stop me!
