Hotel
Please call 507-474-1700 and mention the Truax/Huizenga Wedding Block to receive our group rate for your reservation. The negotiated group rate is $229 + tax, so you may be able to find a lower rate by looking online :) Group rate is available until May 5th, 2026. There will be transportation provided to the ceremony and back from the reception from this hotel.

This hotel is directly next to the Holiday Inn and is another great (& more budget friendly) option for our guests who are wanting to take advantage of our provided transportation to and from the wedding venue!
Flight
Winona does not have an airport, but there are a few different options for those looking to fly. MSP (Twin Cities Airport, 2 hour drive to Winona) - Rent a car, or hop on the St. Paul Amtrak down to Winona. If driving from MSP, the Great River Road along the Mississippi is much better for views vs taking Hwy 52 RST (Rochester Regional Airport, 50 min drive to Winona) - Flight options may be more limited LSE (La Crosse, WI Regional Airport, 35 min drive to Winona) - Flight options may be more limited
Train
Winona has an Amtrak station, with two different trains/routes that pass through! This is a great option for people who want to take the scenic route or don't want to drive down from the Twin Cities.

Winona is a small town - there is no taxi service that we are aware of and uber/lyft options may be limited during your stay.
