what is your wedding venue?

Answer

Our ceremony & reception will both take place at The Bridges Golf Course in Winona, MN. The ceremony will be held in their Summer House, with the reception taking place in their Visions Event Center.

Can I Bring My Kids?

Answer

To ensure a relaxed and enjoyable evening for everyone, we've decided to make our wedding an adults-only event. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can still join us for the celebration.

what is the dress code?

Answer

Please join us in your best cocktail or semi-formal attire! Ladies- midi or floor length cocktail dresses or dressy jumpsuits. Guys- collared shirts and slacks, suit jackets optional but encouraged. No jeans please.

Will the Wedding be Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception spaces are both indoors, with the cocktail hour scheduled in an outdoor garden space. The cocktail hour will move inside in the event of rain.

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes, at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Winona. Call them and mention the Truax/Huizenga Wedding to receive our group rate. Transportation will be provided to and from this hotel to our venue.

will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Yes, there will be a shuttle running from the Holiday Inn & Suites and The Plaza Hotel to the ceremony and back to the hotels in the evening.

Can I Bring a Plus-One?

Answer

Your invite will me made out to "Your Name" and "Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for your understanding.

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

Yes! There is a large parking lot at the venue. You're welcome to leave your cars overnight in the lot and pick them up on Sunday if needed.

can i take pictures?

Answer

We ask that you tuck your phones away for our unplugged ceremony—our awesome photographer, Hailey, has it covered! After the “I dos,” snap away as much as you like. **No other professional photography or cameras will be allowed on our wedding day in order to honor our photographer’s exclusivity agreement. We appreciate your understanding.

What type of food will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We'll be serving light passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a three-course plated dinner and dessert

can i bring my own alcohol?

Answer

No, our venue does not allow for any outside food or beverages. Please enjoy the full bar provided by our venue.
