Shane is Troy’s older less handsome brother. Shane and Troy were inseparable growing up, mainly due to Troy incessantly tagging along without his say. As time went on and Shane moved around the eastern coast, Troy realized he didn’t want to live far from him any longer. About 10 years ago when Shane and his wife, Jackie, decided to lay down permanent roots in Lynchburg, Virginia, Troy knew he needed to move close to them in one way or another. It is clear to them that Virginia is for brothers.

If you know Rachel and I, then you know we are complete opposites, and drive each other crazy; but we're crazy for each other! She shows me so much love, and is truly my best friend. We don't make sense to anyone who is not in our conversations because we're in a secret bubble of nonsensical love. However, we have to be in close proximity to even truly understand each other (texting is nearly impossible and ridiculous). She is my friend who has been there for the weird, crazy, and happiest times; and always loves me no matter what. Love ya boo!
Kenny Bitner

Kenny was the first friend Troy made when he came to Winchester. Chris and Troy moved into the first floor an apartment complex where coincidentally Kenny and his friend lived above them. The first night in their new place, Chris and Troy were enjoying some beers on the patio after a long day of moving when they called up to Kenny, “Hey man, want a beer?" Now 8 years later Kenny and Troy live down the street from one another, bowl in leagues every Wednesday, and golf whenever possible.

Kathy and I always have each other's backs and even when we find ourselves apart, we always find our way to each other. Both of us love animals so much that we both only cry in movies when the animal dies. She's my puzzle buddy and we sit for hours just staring and not saying a word, but it's just what we need and we love it. We also both enjoy having a reason to be fancy, like LOVE BEING FANCY! She is kind and the strongest person I know. I'm very lucky to call her my best friend and have her in my life!
Chris Kutterna

Chris and Troy meet at their alma mater in Bradford, PA. Their friendship blossomed in their last year while in education classes together. After graduating, Chris called Troy to see what his future plans were, and with none in mind, they made a nonverbal pact to go where the other one went. Weeks later Chris called Troy and said, “You ever hear of Winchester, VA?” They both got teaching jobs in the same school and made the leap of faith together. This was easily the best decision for both of their lives.
Jackie Phillips
Bridesmaid
Jackie always makes me laugh and is one of my favorite people. We always find ourselves in very weird situations when we spend time together; which always involves a measuring device. I won't go into details... Anyways, she is such a fun, sweet person, and I'm excited to call her my bridesmaid. I have always been a lonely only child, but now I'm lucky to have such a wonderful person to call my sister! You're stuck with yet another sister, Jackie. Sorry not sorry!
