"Soooo, I was in downtown Winchester with some friends at Hop Blossom (a beer festival on the walking mall). I was enjoying some delicious golden nectar then a storm rolled in so we headed into Macado's Restaurant to get out of the tsunami. My buddy, Carl, worked with some of the ladies that we ran into there, and we hung out to watch the horse races. I introduced myself to Laura thinking that she was super pretty, but I was too scared to act on it. We parted ways and actually later on in the evening ended up at Laura's house. Once again, too nervous to really do anything I continued to drink my liquid courage, and we left her house. My friend, Carl, that introduced me to Laura gave me her number soon after we left. That night we were biking home in the dark at the end of our long day, and I crashed my bike while completely destroying my phone. I was so mad at myself. Not that my phone was broken, but that I couldn't talk to Laura. I woke up early the next day and I made Carl (who was in town for the weekend) stay around with me so I could get a new phone before he left. Once I got my phone I immediately texted Laura and planned a date to go on a hike. We drank wine, watched the sunset, caught lightning bugs, and the rest is history."
