Downtown Flagstaff is one of our favorite spots to hang out—it’s super walkable, full of character, and perfect for a little bar hopping. Some of our go-tos are Rendezvous for cocktails, The Monte V for a bit of history, Uptown Pub for a laid-back pint and some pool, The Gopher Hole for that underground vibe, and Hops on Birch for their endless rotating taps. Grab a drink (or a few) and enjoy the mountain town nightlife that makes Flagstaff so fun.
We’ve spent so many afternoons out here, and it’s easily one of our favorite Flagstaff spots. The course winds through the pines, so it feels like you’re hiking while you play. In the fall, the crisp air and changing colors make it even better. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just want to toss a disc for fun, it’s an awesome way to get outside and enjoy Flagstaff.
One of our all-time favorite dinner spots—and the place we drag pretty much every visitor the second they get to town. They’re also catering the wedding, so if you fall in love with the food (you will), you can head straight to the source for round two. And whatever you do, try all the bruschettas—we swear it’s the best part of the menu. Fun fact: Guy Fieri even rolled through for Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, so you can check out all his favorite picks while you’re there. Cozy, delicious, and an absolute Flagstaff must-do.
It just so happens our wedding weekend lines up with opening weekend of football (couldn’t have planned it better if we tried 🏈). Buffalo Wild Wings is our favorite spot to camp out for hours and watch all the Sunday football games. We’ve spent plenty of Sundays here glued to the TVs, eatting too many wings, and get way to excited cheering for our fantasy football teams. If you’re into football (or just really good bar food), this is the place to be.
If you want big Flagstaff views without having to do a big hike, Buffalo Park is perfect. It’s an easy loop with wide-open mountain scenery, fresh air, and maybe even some wildlife if you’re lucky. In the fall, it’s especially pretty with the changing colors. It’s our go-to spot for a relaxed walk and a good dose of nature.
