It is a ~90 minute drive from Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill and we have setup a schedule so that folks can make this a day trip on Saturday. Please note, cell service can be spotty at the lake.
There are not many close by options. But if you are coming from far away or are interested in staying late, and/or spending the night near the lake, here are some recommendations. There are also Airbnb and VRBO rental properties around Lake Gaston however availbility may be limited and please check driving distance to our location.
