The happy hour and official wedding celebration will start at 3pm. However, we welcome everyone to come early to join us for a lake hang starting at 12:30pm!
Yes, we'd love to have kids at this Lake Celebration. We are working on arranging childcare for the day as well and we will share updates when we have them.
The event is a casual backyard, lakeside hang! We recommend sundresses, sandals, shorts and nice shirts. But also we have asked people to come early and enjoy the lake, so bathing suit coverups are fine too!
Cell reception is very spotty - so be sure to print out or write down the driving directions!
We'll provide a map of parking options, and there will be signs.
The house is about a 90 minute from Durham, so we have planned for local Triangle friends to be able to join us for the day. There are a limited number of hotels and Campsites/Airbnbs/VRBOs in the area but they book fast. Dinner will end around 6:30-7pm, and the sun sets at 8:30pm, so while we hope you will join us for sunset, we understand if you need to head back home before then.
We are asking friends to leave their dogs at home.

She'll be about 33 weeks pregnant - so 7 1/2 months!! Accepting belly rubs from all! We had this whole thing planned where we would tube away on the back of the boat in our wedding dress/suit after the ceremony, but alas, bouncing around behind a boat is not ideal at that stage of pregnancy.
