Jackson is just one town while Jackson Hole refers to the entire valley — which also includes Teton Village, Wilson, the Aspens, Moran, Moose, and more. Both are named for Davey Jackson, a nineteenth-century fur trapper who was one of the first Europeans to spend a winter in the valley.
We have a float planned on Friday, September 15th, 2023 for our friends and family members flying in from out of town. The wedding will take place the next day on Saturday, September 16th, 2023. If you want to participate in the full weekend activities then it's best to book the trip to arrive in Jackson on Thursday, September 14th and depart on Sunday, September 17th. If you'd like to spend more time in the area then you should certainly extend your stay a couple days.
There's plenty of great places to stay! Check out the Travel tab or please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions.
We'd truly appreciate if you'd RSVP by August 1st. That'll help us coordinate with vendors and get excited about you joining us for the big day!
We'd love for your children to join us at the wedding ceremony and reception. For safety reasons, the float will be for all those 6 years old or older . The after party in Driggs, Idaho will be for adults only.
Absolutely! Please reach out to either Alex or Tristan so we can be sure to communicate it to the caterer.
Sadly, the wedding and reception venue are not dog friendly. Grand Teton National Park doesn't allow dogs so dogs can't come on the float with us either.
No. You'll need to either book a rental car for your stay or coordinate an Uber/Lyft/taxi to the Stilson Lot (1455 Beckley Park Way, Wilson, WY 83014) on Saturday, September 16th. That is where all guests will meet to be shuttled to the private river overlook for the ceremony and reception. *Uber and Lyft do operate in Jackson, but they're not as readily available as you're probably used to living in bigger cities so we highly recommend a rental car.*
