Our story begins with two friends meeting up for the best meal of the day: brunch. After we met guiding for the same rafting company in the summer of 2018, Tristan asked Alex out to brunch (not breakfast, not lunch, not dinner – but brunch), and that first brunch led to another which led to another which led to another. We’d sit for hours at these brunches talking, laughing, and almost getting up the nerve to ask each other on an actual date. It wouldn’t be for almost another year before we decided that we were supposed to be more than friends. It’s been five years since that first summer, and we’re still enjoying as many brunches as possible together.
Tristan and Alex have lived in Jackson, WY for a combined total of 20 years so we're so excited to have our friends and family here to celebrate our wedding. We'll be offering a welcome float down the Snake River on Friday, September 15th for all those traveling in for the weekend. This float will be our "Rehearsal Float" in lieu of a traditional rehearsal dinner. Our wedding ceremony and reception will be the next day, Saturday, September 16th beginning at 1pm. We're so fortunate to have been offered a private river overlook site by Jackson Hole Whitewater so we'll be spending the afternoon together there for the ceremony and reception. The reception will end at 5pm that evening. Our dear friends, Aaron and Lindsay, have graciously offered to host an afterparty on their property in Driggs, ID which will begin at 7pm.
