Born & raised in Utah, Trish has 2 brothers, a sister & a bonus, chosen sister. She is the lucky aunt of 11 nieces & nephews & 6 bonus nieces & nephews. Her family is very important to her. Besides being with family, Trish enjoys hiking, reading, video games, writing, watching movies, & listening to music to name a few. Although Trish never dreamt she'd move from Utah she has been living in California for the last year. She has found a new enjoyment, spending time on the beach. Having never lived near an ocean she didn't know she'd love spending time on the beach as much as in the mountains. She has spent the last year getting to know Sara & her dog, Taz & the three of them have grown very close.

Born and raised in Maryland, Sara always had her eye on living in California. She was finally able to move there for college where she studied Mathematics and Computer Science at Pacific Union College. After graduating, she found a computer programming job in the Sacramento area. She loves this area most because both the mountains and ocean are only a couple hours away. She enjoys knitting, creating paper crafts, taking walks in her neighborhood, and watching movies and TV shows. Her dog, Taz, especially loves going for walks and playing with blankets. They have lived together for over eight years and he has grown just as close to Trish in the last year.

Kathy is Trish’s best friend after Sara. She & Trish first met while working together at the IRS. They were roommates for 15 years. Kathy has stuck by Trish through some difficult times. She helped her to get to a point in her life where Trish was prepared to find & fall in love. She was accepting & loving when she came out as a lesbian. She gave Trish her strength during that difficult time. Kathy is a freelance Instructional Designer. She was born & raised in northern Utah. She is the youngest in a family of 6 children.
Valerie Rangel
Maid of Honor
Valerie and Sara first met while working together in 2010 for the State of California Automated Welfare System. As a seasoned Welfare Eligibility Supervisor, Valerie supported Sara in her new role as System Support Lead during a critical migration. Over the next six months, their professional relationship also migrated into a friendship. Even after they were no longer working side-by-side, their paths still crossed occasionally at work. However, they continued their friendship outside of work through similar hobbies, such as FarmVille, paper crafts, and love of Disney. Through the years they’ve encouraged each other and enjoyed learning from each other. Valerie has been a great friend to Sara. Valerie was born & raised in Bakersfield, CA where she works for Kern County DHS.
