It’s such a unique blessing to have lived a full life and then fall in love again. Sally and I have known each other for many years as acquaintances. That all changed in 2016 when my company organized a huge gala event with a retro prom theme. I needed a date so, on a lark, I posted it on Facebook. Sally immediately responded and my heart skipped several beats. Never had I imagined in all these years that she would ever think of me that way. I later learned she held the same belief. Needless to say it was the best prom date ever and the rest is ‘her story’.
