St. Johns Bridge is the most iconic bridge in Portland. It is also less than a mile from Dan & Trisha's house. Check out Stormbreaker brewing and main street while you're in the area.
We recommend visiting the Oregon Coast. Cannon Beach is one of Oregon's many idyllic coastal towns.
Try some paddle boarding, but get there early!
The biggest brick-and-mortar book store in the United States.
On Trisha and Dan's second date, he took her on a hike through Washington Park to the Japanese Gardens. He "got lost" and extended the 4 mile hike to 7 miles. Sneaky Dan figured out how to get more time from his busy attorney, and she's grateful for it. Washington Park is beautiful, and there are a lot of short and long hikes contained within the park.
Mississippi is a must-wander in Portland. Check out Prost and Matt's BBQ food truck, and then head down the street.
Have you ever wandered around a ship wrecked in the sand? I have. If you want to too, check out the Peter Iredale near Astoria.
If you're in Astoria, text Dan for his favorite gelato and fish and chips place.
Trisha met many of her Portland-based friends on or as a result of hiking Angel's Rest. It's a difficult trail, but the view at the end is worth it!
These are the best views of the city of Portland; you can drive or hike there.
A trip to Oregon is incomplete without a trip to Multnomah Falls, which is the tallest waterfall in the United States. Multnomah Falls is conveniently located between PDX and our wedding venue!
This is where Dan and Trisha had their first date.
This is where Dan and Trisha had their first kiss. (There are better parts of the city to visit though.)
You should try at least ONE food truck while you're here. Dan's favorite at this pod is Daily Fuel.
If you like mimosas (or as Matt Thompson says "Ma-MOO-skas"), this is the place to visit for a wide variety of interesting flavors.
IF the Timbers or Thorns are playing, Portland soccer games are a LOT of fun.
This is Dan's favorite ice cream in Portland, and NW 23rd is a cute area to walk around with your family and window shop.
Dan's favorite coffee (and Avocado Toast other than Trisha's) in Portland. Alberta Street is also a fun place to walk around and check out the local art scene.
Great Notion is one of Dan's favorite breweries.
A waterfall that you can basically drive up to. Bridal Veil Falls is also in the area, and is an easy 2/3 miles hike.
If you're on the Coast, this is a nice place to stop for ice cream.
