Can we bring our kids?

Answer

Children are invited to and welcome at the wedding. There will be babysitting options and children's meals for both the rehearsal dinner and the reception. If your children have a favorite toy or group game, parents are encouraged to bring it, especially for that time. Robert Lake Park, a couple hundred yards from Assembly Inn, offers a creek to play in and extensive playground equipment. There are lots of walking and hiking trails around the property.

Where can I get snacks or soft drinks?

Answer

If you need snacks, soft drinks, groceries, or toiletries, head to the Montreat Store across the street from Assembly Inn. It's open 10-7 on Friday, 10-5 on Saturday and not on Sunday. If you need something more, it would make sense to head to Black Mountain.

Is there a good spot to eat in Black Mountain?

Answer

There are plenty of awesome options! Some of the places that we like are for sandwiches are Veranda Cafe and the Artisan Gourmet Market - there's a lot more to choose from too.
