Jitney

If you 're coming from NYC, you can book a ticket for the Hampton Jitney. They have multiple pickup spots in Manhattan and can drop you in Montauk.

Train

LIRR

If you're coming from NYC, the Long Island Rail Road is another option that gets you to Montauk in about 3 hours.

Flight

Airports

If you're not from the New York area, here are the closest airports: John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) - about a 3 hour drive to Montauk (connection is available via airtrain to the Jamaica station, where you can then catch the LIRR out to Montauk. We recommend this option for those who are not renting a vehicle). LaGuardia Airport (LGA) - about a 3 hour and 15 minute drive to Montauk Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) - about a 4 hour drive to Montauk Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) - about a 1.5 hour drive to Montauk (this airport is ideal regarding proximity but it may be hard to find flights.)
