Lakefront Brewery
If you are flying into Milwaukee and have some time, stop by for a brewery tour! We love Lakefront Brewery and have been here countless times! Don't pass up on the Cheese Curds, best in Wisconsin!
Lapham Peak
If you want to stretch your legs and take in some of the beautiful Kettle Moraine Forest, stop at Lapham Peak and climb the tower! On a clear day you can see the capital building in Madison when looking to the West.
Veloce Indoor Speedway Milwaukee
Jonathan and Mason, his brother, love to visit here and race against each other. Tommy, Jessie's brother, likes coming here too!
The Old Fashioned
Stop in and taste a true Wisconsin signature drink, the Brandy Old Fashioned. Try it Sweet or Sour. Jonathan prefers his sweet, Jessie switches between the two!
Panther Intaglio
Effigy Mound loaced right in Ft. Atkinson. The panther intaglio (a "panther"-shaped indentation in the ground attributed to mound-building native Americans 1000 years ago) sits more or less in a residence's front yard. It is very simple but pretty impressive. You can definitely see the form of the animal from the ground without any kind of graphical assistance. Expect to spend about 5 minutes looking at the intaglio itself and the commemorative plaque in front of it.
Hoard Historical Museum
Spend a couple of hours learning about Indian history, Dairy Farming, Abraham Lincoln's connection to Wisconsin and seeing the Hoard house from the early 1900s.
