The resort where we are having the wedding will have plenty to do! You can relax at the beach or lounge by the pool. There are also fun activities such as mini golf, tennis, basketball, and a lazy river! For a bit extra, you can also access the spa. From the resort, the concierge can work with you to book excursions! We would recommend visiting Isla Mujeres (the island that you can see from the beach). You can also visit one of the most exciting and adventurous theme parks called Xcaret. To do these, I would definitely book a few extra nights because you will not have time to do these activities during the wedding weekend.
Isla Mujeres
There are several tours from Cancun to visit the beautiful Isla Mujeres. The island has crystal clear waters. Some of the boat tours will take you to snorkel and swim just off the coast. Definitely comes highly recommended.
Xcaret Park
Xcaret is a water, theme, amusement, eco-archaeological park and more, in one place. Due to its privileged location, in the jungle among underground rivers (cenotes) and facing the Caribbean Sea, Xcaret has impressive scenarios where you can do different activities and enjoy them to the fullest. Besides that, Xcaret is a theme park in Cancun and Riviera Maya that celebrates Mexico’s present and rich past, a country known for its traditions, culture and folklore. You can work with the resort to book a day to visit the theme park. We have definitely heard great things!
