Tropical trees meet desert cactus at Acre. A walk through a lush, mini-jungle is required to get to the entrance of this chic restaurant/hotel. Boye and I ate here during our visit to Cabo. The food was amazing, although a bit pricey and the highlight of the experience was their resident PEACOCK which freely roamed the restaurant.
Sadly, we didn’t make it to this place, but we tried. It’s located near ACRE and the images we’ve seen are spectacular. The food at this restaurant is served farm-to-table, straight from their beautiful farm. They also host cooking classes and have a full spa.
Located a quick 5 minute ($7 taxi) ride away, Plaza Mijares or San Jose del Cabo Main Square has it all. There are several modern art galleries, artisan shops, restaurants, street art and more. It’s the perfect place to go for souvenirs or to get the true “feel” of San Jose del Cabo.
The tacos here are like none other! We were led to La Lupita by the photographer who shot our engagement photos, Julieta. They start you off with a mixture to cleanse your palate and prepare you for the experience, from there, you’re in for a treat. What’s even better is that the tacos range from $1.50 - $2.50usd and the restaurant is the same area as San Jose del Cabo Main Square.
The Art District is located within the same area as Plaza Mijares / San Jose del Cabo Main Square and is seen as the cultural center of Los Cabos. There are 10+ galleries in the area, with Frank Arnold’s gallery being one of the most notable.
Dolphin Discovery Los Cabos stands is in the beautiful Marina Puerto Los Cabos in San Jose del Cabo, just a few minutes away from the resort. This is the perfect option to live a once in a lifetime experience.
