When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by June 15, 2026 so we can finalize our plans. If we don’t hear from you by then, we’ll assume you’re unable to attend. Thank you so much for understanding!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin punctually at 4:30 pm. Please plan arrive no later than 4:15 pm, or you will sadly miss out on our ceremony.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal garden party. Light, romantic, and summery — think polished but comfortable in the heat. Please see the section titled "Dress Code" on the website for some inspiration!

Can I bring a date or children not listed on invitation?

Answer

Because we’re keeping our wedding intentionally small and intimate, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. We’re so grateful for your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outdoors. Afterward, guests will move inside the manor for cocktail hour, followed by the reception in the reception hall.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Parking is available on site at Carolina Manor House.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

We don’t have a formal hotel block, but we’ve listed hotel recommendations on the “Travel” page of the website.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be hosting an open bar during the reception and cocktail hour! Cheers!

Can I bring my own adult beverages?

Answer

We will be supplying alcohol and have bartenders who will handle beverages. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages on the premises.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, which means that once the ceremony begins, we kindly ask that all phones be silenced and put away. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to capture the moment, which we’ll be excited to share with you afterward! Once the ceremony is over, please feel free to take as many photos as you’d like, and don’t forget to share them with us.

What will we do if it rains?

Answer

Since it’s July in North Carolina, we’re all saying a little prayer for sunshine, but not to worry! We have a beautiful indoor rain plan at the venue, so no matter what the weather does, the celebration will go on.

Is smoking allowed on the property?

Answer

The venue is a completely smoke-free property, so smoking is not permitted anywhere on-site. We appreciate your help in keeping the space clean and enjoyable for everyone!
