After Skylar committed to UNC, she found Trey on social media and decided to reach out — a simple message that ended up changing everything. We started talking online and quickly built a connection over the next few months through messages, FaceTimes, and getting to know each other from afar. In March, Skylar drove out to North Carolina, and we finally met in person for the first time. From that moment on, everything felt easy, natural, and right. Once the school year started and we were finally in the same place, we became inseparable. Between classes, practices, games, and everyday life, we built a relationship rooted in friendship, laughter, and constant support. Through college, athletics, career changes, and dreaming about our future together, we’ve grown side by side — always choosing one another, encouraging each other, and finding joy in both the big and small moments. Now, after so many memories, late-night talks, road trips, workouts, and prayers about what’s next, we’re so excited to take this next step and promise forever to the person who already feels like home.
