Flight
We recommend flying to Tulum International Airport (TQO). This airport just opened in late 2023 and opened to international flights in early 2024 making the trip to Tulum a lot easier! We flew in and out from TQO on our first trip and it was very nice and a seamless experience. It is about a 40 minute drive from the Hotel Zone where we will be staying.

Cancun has been the go-to airport for getting to Tulum for years, and it’s still a great choice with tons of direct flights from the U.S. Once you land, it’s about a 1.5–2 hour drive down to Tulum and the Hotel Zone area. We've travelled to Tulum this way as well. Margaritas make the ride to Tulum fly by!
Travel Note
Recommended shuttle service information to come.
Hotel
We are hoping to have as many of our guests as possible stay with us at Ana y José Hotel & Beach Club, a stunning beachfront property nestled in the heart of Tulum’s hotel zone. Our guests will be able to book at a discounted rate, though we are not able to book a traditional wedding block. With that, if you're interested in staying at Ana y José, booking as soon as possible is recommended. IMPORTANT- Please reach out to Cristal at weddingsandgroups@tulumresorts.com and mention our names for the discounted rate to book your stay! Just let her know you're with our wedding, the dates you'd like to stay and how many people will be in your party. YOU CANNOT BOOK THROUGH THE WEBSITE. IF YOU HAVE AN AOL OR YAHOO EMAIL, please reach out to Trevor or Morgan and they will get you in contact, as those emails have trouble with the hotel.
Hotel
If you'd like another option besides Ana y Josè, or if Ana y Josè is sold out, we'd also recommend staying at Ahau Tulum, which is about a ten minute walk from Ana y Josè and is gorgeous. We've had this hotel recommended to us by our planner!
Hotel
Another hotel option is Kanan, which is about a five minute walk from Ana y Josè and is gorgeous. We've been to the beach club at Kanan before and thought their service was great. Please look at reviews as this may be more of a party hotel.
Travel Note
If you prefer something different, there are many other great spots nearby! From cozy Airbnbs to boutique hotels, Tulum has something for everyone. Just try to stay within the beach zone or Aldea Zama area to be close to the action (though we've also stayed in the La Veleta neighborhood and loved it). Please reach out to us if you have any questions!
