CENOTES
Cenotes are natural freshwater swimming holes formed by collapsed limestone caves. There are two kinds: open-air + underground. The Mayans considered them sacred, and it's easy to see why. There are hundreds around Tulum, a few popular ones include Gran Cenote, Cenote Calavera, and Cenote Dos Ojos.
TULUM RUINS
Perched on a cliff overlooking the turquoise Caribbean Sea, the Tulum Ruins are a must-see. This ancient Mayan site offers stunning views and a fascinating glimpse into Mexico’s rich history. Go early before the crowds arrive!
Tulum Jungle Gym
Yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like-- an outdoor gym made from wood, ropes, rocks, and beach stones. Equal parts workout and photo op, and right on the beach.
Kin Toh
Gorgeous bar and restaurant located inside the Azulik hotel in the Hotel Zone. It's one of our favorite places to get a cocktail - the architecture is truly amazing and the perfect Tulum vibe.
Papaya Playa Project
An upscale and relaxing beach club and restaurant. This day club is more of a relaxed and luxurious vibe compared to other beach clubs in town. We'd recommend calling ahead in order to guarantee a day bed on the beach!
Bonbonniere Night Club (Tulum)
One of the coolest nightclubs we've ever been to. If you're looking for a fun and curated night out, we can't recommend Bonbonniere highly enough.

A Tulum staple that cooks all food on an outdoor fire in front of you! Make sure to make reservations in advance - a very popular place.
