GOIN’ TO THE MOUNTAIN AND WE’RE GONNA GET MARRIED

With a bit of luck, and the magic of the internet, their adventure began while they were 5,074 miles apart. By fortunate happenstance, the couple met (face-to-face) at a mutual friend’s Halloween party in October of 2016. She was in awe of his sense of adventure as he showed her pictures of his recent trip to Croatia. He chuckled as she carved the silhouette of a red wine glass into her Halloween pumpkin. That. Was. It. Trevor bravely opened his heart to her. His two young boys, Tzadikai and Taevian, welcomed her with open arms. While Melanie explained, “If my dog doesn’t like you, I can’t date you.” Luckily, Lola sensed his loving spirit and welcomed him into their pack. The following year and half has been their greatest adventure. Their thirst for exploration stretches across Oregon while they seek out their next hike, paddling trek, or camping spot. As a couple, they have commenced their world travels together. Exploring the glaciers of Iceland, building a home in Cambodia, and kayaking in the Andaman Sea in Thailand. Their travel bucket list continues to grow; including volunteering with wolves in Portugal, and MotoGP races in Qatar in 2019. As Melanie (im)patiently wondered when he would “pop the question,” Trevor waited for the perfect moment. And that moment was well worth the wait. As the snow fell on Christmas Eve 2017, with his Mother’s ring, Trevor asked her to be his forever. And through her ugly cry, she said “yes.” December 25th, the wedding planning begins. In the Summer of 2018, their adventure continues with a new home in Oregon City, where they hope to create a lifetime of love and memories as a family of four. Their cozy Winter Wedding will top off a very busy 2018. The couple extends their love and gratitude for your involvement in their lives. Each individual has contributed to the couple’s story, and they embrace the next adventure along side of you all.
