This spot is conveniently at The Stanley Hotel. We both really enjoyed the food for brunch! They have a unique menu and it’s in a really cool room with a great view in the lodge (opposite side of the lodge where the reception will be held)
The Post Chicken & Beer
Also on the hotel grounds in the old carriage house. This spot is perfect for grabbing a beer and sitting on the patio to enjoy the amazing views of the mountains!
Cascades Restaurant
Also in The Stanley Hotel. Cascades has amazing cocktails, one of the country’s largest whisky selections, and great food! You might recognize the bar from the great 1994 classic “Dumb and Dumber” scene in “Aspen”! You can eat inside or enjoy the very relaxing garden!
Aiden Sinclair's Underground
Aiden Sinclair’s Underground, located beneath the historic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, offers immersive magic shows that blend illusion with the hotel’s storied ambiance. Performances are held Wednesday through Sunday evenings, featuring a variety of acts from magicians across the country, some of whom have appeared on America’s Got Talent.  Current Shows: • Possessions: The Magick of Things This 90-minute, audience-interactive show delves into the supernatural world of possessions, exploring whether objects can hold real magic.  • 13: The Séance at The Stanley Hotel An exclusive séance experience conducted in the Stanley Séance Room, led by resident Apparitionist Hannibal. This presentation is open to guests aged 16 and over, with seating limited to 12 guests per night.

Good coffee/espresso right next to a gorgeous river and walking path. Lots of great art galleries and shops nearby!

Great place to grab breakfast or lunch right in town!
Mojo Taqueria Lyons
If you are headed up through the mountains on your way to Estes Park or back out and are looking for a bite to eat and a good drink, this place is a favorite stop! Very good tacos!
Rocky Mountain National Park
If you’re looking to experience the outdoors and maybe take a hike, Rocky Mountain National Park is a great option. Check out the website for more details! Emerald Lake Trail is highly recommended.
Lion Gulch Trailhead (#949)
15min from The Stanley. 1300 Elevation gain, 6.6mi out and back. 3hr20min estimated duration. Good shade, runs along a river.
