Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum
Evergreen is home to the famous Spruce Goose. Fun fact: Trevor & Faith used to live right by the museum. Trevor also took his high school senior photos with one of the planes.
Pike Road Wines
Stop by Pike Road for some great wine and friendly faces. We loved their wine so much we that we joined their wine club.
Sokol Blosser Winery
Sokol Blosser is a fantastic winery, offering excellent Oregon Pinot Noir and a tasting room with wonderful hillside views of the vineyards. It's also one of our favorite tasting rooms in the area. There's also Durant Vineyards on the adjacent property that has olive oil tasting and is a great visit to piggyback with Sokol Blosser.
Ken Wright Cellars
This tasting room is a great place to stop by to experience a unique tasting that located in an old train station and is home to one of the most famous winemakers in the area. It's also located in downtown Carlton, which is a lovely small town with great food and shops.
The Diner
A local favorite! The Diner is known for using local ingredients and having some of the best breakfast in the area. Try to get here early, as seating is limited and wait times can be long! Located next to Comfort Inn as well.
Crescent Cafe
Another local favorite breakfast spot! The bake goods are made in house every morning.
Nick's Italian Cafe
Our favorite Italian food in Mac! Eat in the main dining room, or head to the back for the coziness of Refire Bar.
ForeLand Beer
Georgia’s favorite spot in town! Foreland offers indoor/outdoor seating an award-winning brews. They also have two great food cart options for either burgers or burritos.
Two Dogs Taphouse
Trevor loves this place for three reason: 40 beers on tap, hot wings, and tvs to watch football.
1882 Grille
One of our go to places for dinner for a causal date night and family meet up. Gotta get the bread and fondito as an appetizer. Lasagna is also sneaky good.
Carlton
Carlton is a great small town to visit if you are in the mood for great restaurants, a local french bakery, small shops and of course, wine tasting. We love to go to Park & Main for pizza and wood-fire dishes, Blind Pig for great burgers and sandwiches and Hayward if we are feeling an elevated dinner with a James Beard chef. Carlton reminds us of that great american small town with the the one blinking light in the center of town and the horizon filled with farms and vineyards.
Dundee
Can’t decide on just one tasting room? Wander through Dundee for endless options. Stop by Argyle for bubbles or Dobbes Family for some tasty reds. Check out Red Hills Market for a tasty lunch break.
