Mackinac Island
Located 1 hour from Boyne Mountain Resort, Mackinac Island offers a unique step back in time with its charming Victorian architecture and ban on motorized vehicles. Explore the island's history at Fort Mackinac, Biddle House or wander through the historic downtown and admire the iconic architecture. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy biking the scenic eight-mile perimeter road, hiking the island's interior trails, or kayaking along the shoreline. Take a horse-drawn carriage tour of the island. And of course, don't forget to indulge in the island's famous fudge!
