We're getting married!

Thank you for being part of our story. We’re so excited to celebrate this day with the people who mean the most to us. We’re so grateful for your love and support as we start this next chapter.

Our story began the modern way — online — with two people who were just hoping for a good conversation. Our first date at the Minnesota zoo was easy and fun, and by the second date we were already laughing like we’d known each other longer than a few days. Then life threw us a curveball. Right after our second date, Jason ended up in the hospital with sepsis. Most people would have taken that as a sign to quietly disappear, but instead, our third date happened right there in his hospital room. We played cribbage between nurse check ins, talked for hours, and realized that if we could enjoy each other’s company in a hospital, we could probably handle anything together. That moment set the tone for our relationship — choosing each other even when things aren’t perfect. From there, our story grew through everyday moments and shared adventures. We’ve gone to countless sporting events, taken road trips, and built a life full of laughter and support. Jason has welcomed my kids with open arms, helping with their vehicles, cheering them on, and spending time playing games together. Family is important to both of us, and that includes Jason’s daughters and granddaughters in California. We don’t get to see them as often as we’d like, but they are always in our hearts and part of our lives. Their place in our story matters, and we look forward to the times when distance shrinks and we can all be together. What started as a simple online match has become a partnership built on loyalty, humor, and a whole lot of love. We’re so grateful for the path that brought us here, and we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with the people who mean the most to us.
