Like many great love stories, ours started as friends. And like all stories worth telling, the Lord has been in all of it. We met at church in early 2021 and quickly became friends--best friends, if you asked Tres (although neither of us can remember how or when). People always asked us how long we had been together or when we were going to start dating. Sydney laughed it off, but deep down Tres always had feelings for her. She now jokes that she was the last to know! After two years (and some prompting from the Lord), Tres got up the courage to tell Sydney how he felt. After several weeks of prayer (and keeping him on the hook), she finally said, "I'm in." From that day on, we've been inseparable--and the rest is history! It's been a wild ride so far, and it truly is a story of God's faithfulness--ask us about it sometime. We can't wait to celebrate #readysetReeves with you!
