Our Story

The night we met.. at ULLR fest at Red Lodge Ales (praying for snow)

We started working together on Big Sky Bonus Tracks filming local and regional musicians with friends Mitch, Aaron, and Schyler.

Cass started working and our communication carried over text and facetime.. lots of selfies

We spent our time in Red Lodge together when Cass wasn't on fire assignments skiing...

And hiking.

Lucas first started meeting Cass's family when Megan (her mom) and Michael (step-dad) came to visit.

Cass first met Lucas's Family when Kim (his mom), Ana (his sister), Suzy (his aunt), Brian (his uncle), and Hayden (his cousin) came to visit.

On a trip to Denver for a wedding, Lucas met Chris (her dad) and Jenny (her step-mom)

We spent a lot of time with our friends in Red Lodge and had a great community to share Montana summer with. (picture from Lucas's show at Forget Me Knot Festival in Cooke City)

Cass and Lucas took off on an 8 week long adventure visiting friends and family in all corners of the country. Cass's first introduction to Lucas's High School friends was a Lakefront Brewery.

After visiting family in Milwaukee and New Jersey spending Christmas with Megan and Michael in Grand Junction CO we took a road trip up the 101 in California.

We started out the new year with a sunset every night on the coast (as long as there was sun)

When Cass was offered her dream job of working on a Rappel crew in John Day, OR. (we didn't know where that was either) We decided to move together to carry on this love story in a new state.

After a loong day of driving and lots of help from Lucas's dad, we finally made it to our new home.

While Cass started her dream job....

Lucas began scheming.

On a weekend trip to Colorado for Lucas's first Red Rocks show, he talked to all the parents about his plans to propose to Cassidy.

Finally, the opportunity arose that Cass had a couple days off of work and they headed out to the coast.... after many plans fell through Lucas was able to propose and it worked out just as it should.

And she said yes!!
