Question

Is the ceremony open to anyone?

Answer

We’ll be having a small, private ceremony with close family, and we truly appreciate your understanding. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you afterward at One Legged Magpie! Please refer to your RSVP details to see which wedding day events you’re invited to—we’re so excited to share this special weekend with you.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our reception will be semi-formal, with a focus on looking and feeling your best. While we’re getting married in Montana, this won’t be a “Western” themed event—so no need to break out the cowboy hats or boots (unless that’s your thing). Think “elevated cabin weekend,” not cowboy chic. #crunchynotcountry We kindly encourage guests to stick with natural, earthy tones to complement the landscape and overall vibe of the day. Not sure what to wear? Feel free to reach out to Cassidy or Lucas—we’re happy to help! Look good, feel good, dance better. 💃🕺

Question

Can I bring a date? Are kids welcome?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation/RSVP as they are addressed accordingly.

Question

Are the wedding events indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The reception will be held indoors, but there’s an outdoor patio available if you’d like to step out for some fresh air. For those attending the ceremony, please note it will take place outside. We recommend bringing a jacket or anything else you might need to stay comfortable—Montana weather in October can be unpredictable, with temperatures ranging anywhere from the 40s to 60s.

Question

Are there things to do in Red Lodge leading up to the reception?

Answer

Yes—we’ve planned a little extra fun for the weekend! We’re hosting a Poker Run that everyone is welcome to join. Check out the “Things To Do” page for details (we’ll update it the week of the wedding), and grab a map at the Welcome Party to see which of our favorite local businesses are participating. Here’s how it works: Visit any participating business during the day, mention you’re here for our wedding, and you’ll receive a playing card. The goal? Collect cards throughout the day and build your best 5-card poker hand. We’ll announce the winners—and hand out prizes—at the reception! ♠️♥️♣️♦️

Question

Parking and Getting Around

Answer

While we highly recommend booking accommodations within walking distance of the festivities, we understand that may not be possible for everyone. Parking is available along Broadway Avenue and the surrounding side streets. Just a heads-up—it's all parallel parking, so bring your best skills! 😉 Please note: overnight parking is not allowed on Broadway, so be sure to move your car before calling it a night.
