Please see Travel section on website to see lodging options. The bride and groom will be staying at the Bluefin Bay/Surfside Resort. This resort has a two night minimum stay on rooms. There is a room block if you call and book under “Autio Wedding” this provides a mixture of hillside guest rooms and lakeside guest rooms at Bluefin Bay Resort. Please feel free to book any kind of room you would like at Bluefin Bay or Surfside Resort, not just the ones listed under "Autio Wedding". If you choose not to stay at the Bluefin Bay/Surfside Resort there is an AmericInn located in Tofte MN as well that is only 1 mile away from the ceremony and reception. Bluefin Bay and Surfside are apart of the SAME resort. They are located 1 mile away from each other. Please feel free to stay at either lodging site. If you do not see any available “lake side” or “hill side” guest rooms online and would like to book this kind of room. Please call Bluefin Bay and book under Autio Wedding room block.
The wedding ceremony and reception will be in two separate locations. The ceremony will take place at Bluefin Bay Resort at the Beach Patio. The reception will take place in the Surfside Ballroom at the Surfside Resort 1 mile south of Bluefin Bay Resort on highway 61. There will be a free shuttle available to bring people from the ceremony to the reception and back to their room at Bluefin Bay Resort at the end of the night.
