Trenton and Mackenzi first met in the summer of 2013. During that summer they spent all of their time enjoying the sun, the lake and each other's company. Their relationship began to grow as they met each other's families and friends, learned about each others dreams and began to fall in love. Trenton asked Mackenzi to officially become his girlfriend on September 15th of 2013. After that the two became inseparable. They spent the last of their high school years cheering each other on during sporting events, supporting each other through all of the excitements and challenges of high school and raising their new puppy Agate together. As Trenton and Mackenzi continued to grow into adults, they were lucky enough to have each other's love and support through navigating the trials and tribulations that early adulthood had to offer. Together they accomplished many of the goals that attributed to their incredible future. Mackenzi graduated military training, Trenton bought his first house in Duluth and they both graduated college with the promising degrees they had worked so hard for. After starting careers they decided to purchase a house back in their hometown of Sturgeon lake. They continue to enjoy the simplicities of their day to day lives together such as going on long walks, pontooning on Sand Lake, socializing with friends and family and all that comes in between. On December 29th of 2023 Trenton proposed to Mackenzi in the same significant place with the same clever tactics he used to ask her to be his girlfriend 10 years prior. The couple continues to spend each day together with all the gratitude in the world that they ever managed to find each other and fall in love. They are beyond excited to finally commit themselves to each other officially, surrounded by the people who have loved and supported their relationship for the past 11 years. They look forward to each day knowing that they will forever have the love and support of each other as they continue to take on all the opportunities and challenges life has to offer them.
