Trent and Megan met through Bumble, a dating app where the girl has to initiate the conversation. They matched and hit it off because of common interests like video making, the Spanish language and their faith. After a couple of days messaging back and forth Trent asked Megan out on a date which was tacos and then bowling. It went well and here we are 3 years later!

We both love to travel and explore new places together and that has been something we have gotten to do as a couple throughout our dating season. We've gone on roadtrips all around Colorado's mountain range as well as adventured out of state to Florida, Maine and Hawaii together. So, Trent thought that a trip for the two of us would be a great Christmas gift this last Christmas. He revealed we would be going to the Oregon coast and thought it'd be the perfect opportunity to propose. Lucky enough, one of Megan's best friends lives out in Portland and was able to help Trent plan and take photos of the engagement! It was the perfect set up. On one of the days of the trip, we were exploring Hug's Point Beach and we got a little fire going on the sand to roast marshmallows and right at sunset, Trent got down on one knee and asked Megan to marry him. A memorable trip for sure!
