Question

How and when should I RSVP by?

Answer

To RSVP, please click the RSVP tab on our website and type in your name. All invited guests in your party will appear here to mark as "attending" or "declining". Please RSVP before August 31, 2025.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we would love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day! The dress code is Cocktail Attire (semi-formal). We recommend a suit for our men and cocktail dresses for our ladies - please no jeans. Ladies, please avoid any white, ivory, or champagne tones. The ceremony space is indoors, as well as the reception space. The average temperature is 45 degrees in the day, and 24 degrees at night. Please note that for our reception space, shoes are NOT allowed to be worn in the chapel. We will provide a way to store shoes as you come in, but recommend bringing a pair of white or black socks.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We wholeheartedly thank you for traveling to celebrate with us! Because of where the event is taking place, and because camp is so near and dear to both of us, we would love for you to stay on property with us! Information on how to book on property can be found when you RSVP. Otherwise, Powderhorn is a very small town - there are AirBNB options in Powderhorn, or hotels available in Gunnison (50-60 minutes from property).

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held on site at Sky Ranch Ute Trail. The ceremony and reception will both be indoors.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you received a plus one, your guest's name is listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with our friends and family. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). This means we are asking all phones to be put away and on silent/turned off during our ceremony so that all guests can be 100% present with us during this time. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There are places to park on property.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

We will miss celebrating with you! We need to have exact numbers by August 31, 2025, so please don't RSVP late!

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

Your presence will surely be missed. Please RSVP "Will Not Attend". If you have RSVP'd attending, but find that you can no longer make it, please notify Annie at (336) 300-5736.

Question

What if I am late to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be starting promptly at 3:00 PM. We recommend guests arrive between 2:30-2:45 PM so there is time to get shoes put away, to mingle and find your seat. If you happen to be late, please do not enter the chapel and head to the reception space to wait for the ceremony to end. Please do NOT walk down the aisle to find a seat.
