We met at a Halloween party we both hadn’t planned to attend, but I’m so glad we did. We spent the night talking, laughing, and dancing, and by the end, we agreed to go on a date as soon as possible. It took some time to plan, but on a chilly November evening, we finally went out to dinner. From that night on, we’ve never looked back!

Both itchy with a travel bug, Brandon and I planned a 6 week trip to explore 8 different countries in Europe! We had been to Portugal, Netherlands, Austria, Czechia and then arrived in Nice, France for a few nights before heading to Switzerland. Brandon suggested that we head to the beach on our last night where we would sit and drink a bottle of wine while we watched the sunset and enjoyed the sound of the ocean. Despite my protests, Brandon convinced me to take a picture from a random man walking his dog on the beach. As I thanked this man for taking our photo I looked to my left and was shocked to see Brandon down on one knee trying to open a little white box. Both of us were laughing/ crying as I said YES, YES, YES!! We then sat on the beach laughing some more and celebrated our engagement at a little wine bar in the city of Nice, it was PERFECT!
