Ferry Information

Part of the fun of getting married on San Juan Island is getting there! The easiest (and least expensive) way to get to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island is by Washington State Ferry. You can drive your car right onto the boat, or board as a foot passenger and simply walk on. San Juan Islands ferries depart from the Anacortes Ferry Terminal located at 2100 Ferry Terminal Rd, Anacortes, WA 98221. Allow a comfortable 1-1/2 to 2 hours to enjoy the drive and the scenery from Seattle. ***More Ferry Reservation Spots will open up two weeks before Aug 15 (Jul 31/Aug 1). Be sure to reserve your spot then!

There are many hotels and accommodations available in Friday Harbor. Some of our favorites are... The Orca Inn Bird Rock Hotel Earth Box Inn and Spa The Island Inn We also have had great luck using Airbnb. If you don't feel like staying right on the island, hotels in Anacortes or Seattle are great options as well (just remember to plan ahead for a ferry ride the day of the wedding!).

Trolley From Ferry Dock to Venue

August 15, 2021 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

A trolley will be running from the centrally-located, Ferry Dock to the Ceremony Site (Saltwater Farm). To hop on the trolley to get to the venue, meet at the Ferry dock at one of the following times: 2:45pm, 3:15pm To grab a ride home, plan to take the departure trolley that will leave the venue at the following times: 10:30pm, 11:00pm, 11:30pm

There are about 40 parking spots at the venue. As this is about 1/3 of our wedding guests, we encourage carpooling or using the shuttle.
