DO: World-class contemporary art museum. Also, a new Mediterranean restaurant from top local restaurateurs opens July 15 named Cardamom on the ground floor with a patio overlooking the Sculpture Garden.
DO: Free, outdoor contemporary sculpture garden. Travis proposed in front of the iconic Spoon and Cherry.
DO: Tour Prince’s house to prepare for the Purple Rain singalong. RIP.

DO: Local theatre that has an always open endless bridge overlooking the Mississippi River for excellent views.
DO: This pedestrian only bridge connects the Mill District (near the hotels) and Northeast Minneapolis (near the wedding venue) over the Mighty Mississippi. There are parks and restaurants on both sides of the bridge to explore.
DO: Formerly (and more commonly) known as Lake Calhoun. Visit our local lakes for a walk, bike ride, paddle boat and people watching. Visit nearby Uptown for shopping and eating.

DRINK: A great brewery with hard seltzer for the non-beer drinkers. One of the few breweries with their own food too. Great, large patio.
EAT/DRINK: A lovely cafe with a nice, large outdoor patio on Main Street that looks at the Mississippi River and Stone Arch Bridge. Conveniently located just below the wedding venue if you'd like to stop by before.
EAT: Bride’s family are co-owners of this beloved French bistro with the best wine and champagne list in town.
DO: Visit George Floyd Square to see a moving memorial and tribute to a man that changed Minneapolis and the world.
DO: Visit one of Minneapolis’ beautiful city lakes. At the bandshell, you can eat, drink and rent canoes or kayaks. The nearby Rose Gardens, Japanese Rock Garden and Bird Sanctuary make a lovely stroll. This is the lake and running route close to our new home in Linden Hills.
