After careful consideration, we've decided to move forward with our July 31 wedding. With the pace of vaccinations and improving outlook, we are hopeful by July we can host a fun and safe event to finally reunite with all our friends and family. We will keep the information up to date here and send out formal guidance via email close to the date. Thank you for your patience and flexibility while we navigate the situation. We wish we could gather under different circumstances and we understand that some of you may not be comfortable attending and/or traveling. We will of course respect those decisions and miss you dearly.
Minnesota has removed all of the wedding event restrictions, including the mask mandate for fully vaccinated guests. We want our wedding to be as safe as possible and ensure everyone feels comfortable and protected. We strongly encourage everyone to be vaccinated for their own health, as well as others.
It was a stormy Sunday night in Dallas. The Cowboys were playing the Packers in the playoffs. Two of our friends (Shout out to Erik and Colette Martin!) hosted a watch party. We hit it off over crudités. A few beers later we realized we had some slightly awkward work related overlaps. So awkward that instead of asking for my phone number, Travis sent me (and my coworker/friend that was also there) a LinkedIn message. A long six months later we shared our first kiss at the infamous Fraternal Order of the Eagles pool in Dallas - just before I decided to move back to Minneapolis. The Cowboys may have lost that first night but Travis won in the end.
