Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Both! The ceremony will be held outdoors, with a cocktail hour and reception to follow indoors/outdoors. Prairie's Edge has beautiful patio areas outside for anyone wanting fresh air.

Are children invited?

Although we love your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only event. We hope this gives you the chance to relax, enjoy the evening, and celebrate with us!

What is the dress code?

Cocktail attire is preferred. We understand that weather conditions may be a factor and encourage guests to dress accordingly.

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

There is a dirt road that will access Prairie's Edge parking lot. Cars can stay overnight if needed, and must be picked up by 10a the next morning.

How do I RSVP?

Formal invitations will be mailed closer to the wedding and will include all the details you’ll need, including instructions for our wedding website.

What’s the typical weather like?

Answer

August is classic high-desert summer weather. You can expect warm to hot days with mostly clear skies. Average temperatures are usually in the upper 80s to low 90s°F with cooler evenings in the 60s°F. Boise is quite dry in August, with very little rain and lots of sunshine, so plan for warm conditions and light layers if the temperature drops at night.
