Darby & Travis met on January 21st, 2021 in Austin, Texas. Darby had just moved from San Francisco, and Travis had recently come home from the Army and started his undergraduate degree at The University of Texas at Austin. Darby & Travis' first date lasted 8hrs with continual "bubbly banter" as Travis later noted in his journal titled "A Date with Darby". Their second date lasting 10hrs; they quickly realized what they had was special. The two bonded over their love for Rufus Du Sol, a life filled with adventure, independence, and a shared optimism for their future. From then on, they spent the next 5 years filled with love, laughter and adventures; hiking, camping, paddle boarding, paintballing, concerts, comedy shows, traveling to Mexico & Europe, and so much more!

As some of you may already know, Darby & Travis got married in a courthouse in Granbury, Texas on March 28th, 2025; surrounded by their immediate family and closest friends. This elopement was primarily to honor Travis' grandparents, Betty and William Morgan who will not be able to attend the formal Cabo wedding. We are so excited to formally celebrate one year of marriage with you all in Mexico!
