To spare ourselves 1 million questions, we don't usually tell people how we truly met. We sometimes say that we met through a mutual friend, my mother has even conjured up a story in her head about how I was mowing my lawn, Travis drove past (he lived around the corner from me) and stopped to talk. For the record, I've mowed my lawn probably twice in my life. ;) The truth is, we met online. I placed an ad seeking something more than a casual encounter and Travis responded. I was immediately drawn to his eyes (they are my favorite) and his fun-loving personality. We remained friends for about 6 months, eventually blossomed into more, and the rest is history! We both attribute our initial interest to how much we had in common. We both absolutely despise pickles and took that as some sort of cosmic sign....that nothing really happens by accident and we crossed each other's paths for a specific reason. Travis's mom got us a pickle ornament one Christmas, and we put it right in the front on our tree every year. Not because of the legendary Christmas pickle tradition we all know, but because it is the tie that binds us. We are thrilled to share this special event with all of you. This site is designed to be your one-stop shop for all things wedding related. Take a look around and feel free to reach out with any questions. We love you all, and can't wait to celebrate!
