Maid of Honor
Juanita was the first friend I ever made. We met at pre-school at La Patitie. We don’t know how our friendship began, but we both feel it was instantaneous. A couple years later she moved away, but our parents were keen on keeping us in touch by attending birthday parties and hangouts during the summertime. Since graduating high school, Juanita and I have continued to stay in touch and I can always count on her to be there.

Kaitlyn and I have always been opposites but that has never got between the love we share as siblings. Even though she lives in a different state, we’ve gotten closer as we got older and now she is someone I can share stories with, laugh with, and make fun of our Dad together. I always look forward to anytime we can get together because I know there will be plenty of laughter.

Even though I already have my sister, Kaitlyn, Lindsay immediately felt like another sister to me with how welcoming and easy she was to bond with. I look forward to every Romine pool party because I always have so much fun with Lindsay, plus she’s my tequila shot partner. Her daughter Hannah is also the cutest little girl and I’m excited to have Hannah as our flower girl.

While Alexis and I haven’t known each other for long, we both share the bond of soon joining the Romine family. I’ve already had the pleasure of hanging out with her at some family gatherings and I am so happy she will be my sister-in-law.

Best Man
The first time I met Mathew it was in an Xbox Live online party. He instantly found me so annoying that he muted me and we played together for a few days without speaking. Years later, he’s turned out to be the closest friend I’ve ever had and we consider each other family. Although he lives a couple hours away in Tyler, our friendship has never faltered in the slightest. We stay in touch everyday whether it’s through texting or meeting up online for some video games at night and we also make a point to visit each other as much as we can.
Groomsman
It was my first day in 3rd grade at a new elementary school and apparently when I met Garrison, I walked up to him and spouted, “You can call me your best friend Travisimo!” We’ve been friends ever since. Sometimes that’s all it takes and that speaks to the simple, yet deep friendship Garrison and I share. No matter how long it’s been since we’ve last spoke, Garrison and I always pick up right where we left off.
Groomsman
Dustin or, “Duer” as he’s known to me, will always share a special bond with me because we were neighbors growing up and we went through many childhood shenanigans together. From our “missions” through people’s backyards, to being pool rats during the summer, I feel like I’ve had a childhood reminiscent of the movie The Sandlot, and Duer was there for all of it.

My brother Jeff and I have always been competitive against each other. Making up bets or challenges to things, even if we weren’t playing a sport. But no matter who won or lost, that has never got in the way of our relationship. My brother has always supported me and I’m glad that life has brought us both to Dallas so that we can still try and compete with each other in whatever outdoor activity we are doing at the time.
