Question

Will there be a shuttle service?

Answer

Life and Eoin have graciously agreed to provide shuttles for guests who do not wish to drive. They will be offering pick up in Salida for rides to the wedding (2:30-3:15), as well as rides home in the evening (8:30-10:30). Guests are welcome to leave their vehicles at the property overnight. If you plan to use this service, please bring cash for a tip! To get picked up, please text or call Eoin: 719-398-3173.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 3:30, so please arrive at least five minutes before then, but no earlier than 2:45. Some drinks will be available before the ceremony.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of space for parking at the farm. Feel free to drive your own car, carpool, or take a taxi in. A shuttle service will be available at the end of the night for those who do not wish to drive home (more details below).

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is "Colorado Formal" - i.e., jeans, collars, and sundresses! Short sleeves are perfectly fine. All events will take place outside on the farm, so leave the stilettos at home and opt for a more comfortable shoe you can walk and dance in – cowboy boots recommended! The weather in Colorado is highly unpredictable. We recommend bringing a rain coat, a hat or cover-up, and a jacket for the when it gets cool in the evening. If it rains during the ceremony, we may briefly postpone or go forward with the ceremony in the rain - be prepared for the elements!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Dinner will be served buffet style. We recommend not eating foods from the buffet that you're allergic to.

Question

What is the elevation of Salida?

Answer

The town of Salida sits at 7,083 feet. If you are worried about adjusting to the altitude, we recommend working your way up in elevation slowly. If you have health concerns or a history of altitude sickness, consider spending at least one night in Denver before heading to Salida. You can also prepare by drinking lots of water leading up to the trip (120 oz per day), avoiding caffeine and alcohol for a few days before the trip, and taking "Acli-Mate" prior to and during your trip.
