Where will the wedding and reception be held?

Our wedding and reception will be taking place at the same location; Oak Lodge at Bricksome in Baton Rouge

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please see the RVSP tab on the website for all event RSVPs. Wedding ceremony and reception RSVPs should be no later than October 13th, 2023 to ensure you are included in the headcount, seating, and meal numbers.

Indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both our wedding and reception will be held indoors.

What's the parking situation like?

Answer

Our venue has spacious, dedicated parking that will be able to accommodate all of our guests.

Can I bring a date to your wedding?

Answer

If your invitation said that two seats were reserved for you, then yes! If your invitation only said one seat, then unfortunately, no. We are extremely limited with the number of guests that can attend and won't be able to accept any additional guests at the door.

I've got the best spot, can I take photos during your ceremony?

Answer

Please don't! We hired an amazing photographer who really knows what we want in our wedding photos. We kindly ask that you keep your phones, cameras, etc. put away and stay present with us during this special moment in our journey! This is extremely important to the bride and groom, so be prepared to be reminded of this request by designated individuals and asked to leave if you do not oblige.

Will there be alcohol?

We will not be serving alcohol at our reception. We apologize if this is against expectations.

I can't make it! I'm so sorry!

Answer

No worries! While we hoped you would join us, we understand that this will be a holiday weekend and that things happen. Whatever the reason, we understand. Let us know if we can help. If you've RSVP'd please let us know as soon as you can.
