The Beltline is a lovely biking/walking trail that goes throughout the city. It will be perfect for a walk in October! Recommend starting at the Krog Street tunnel and walking toward Piedmont Park. You'll pass both Krog Street Market and Ponce City Market if you chose this route! Stop by Victory Sandwich Bar for a drink and cheap and delicious sandwiches.
Some of Katherine's favorites: -Inman Park: located right off the beltline, there are several fun restaurants and shops. Delbar, Barcelona Wine Bar and Beetlecat have excellent food and ambiance for a nice dinner. - Virginia Highlands: Stop by and get a cup of coffee at Perc (arguably the best coffee in Atlanta) or get a late night beer at Moe's and Joe's, everyone's favorite dive bar. - West Midtown: Peruse through the shops at the Westside Provisions District. Grab a taco and a marg at Taqueria del Sol. If you're up for a fun activity, go to Putt shack for some put put with a twist. - Summerhill: close to the old Braves stadium, Summerhill is a charming neighborhood close to Grant Park. Grab a beer at Halfway Crooks, a german style brewery. - Parks: Grant Park, Piedmont Park
If you're staying in Decatur, I recommend trying Chai Pani for delicious Indian food, no.. 246 for decadent Italian food, the Iberian Pig for tapas, or Taqueria del Sol for cheap and yummy tacos.
Ponce City Market is located right off the beltline and features a food hall and lots of stores for a good shopping day! There is also a lovely rooftop that has a nice view of the city.
Krog Street Market is a food hall located off the beltline (a bit smaller than Ponce City Market) that Katherine used to frequent when she lived in the neighborhood. Try Jeni's icecream or grab a pastry at Little Tart!
Travis' favorite attraction in Atlanta :) The beluga whales and whale shark are truly magical to see in real life.
The World of Coke is a tourist fan favorite. Always a good time tasting the different coke products from around the world!
