Haley and I became friends junior years of high school when I joined Future Farmers of America (FFA). She kept me sane through high school and we've been friends ever since! Haley has always been a true go-getter and I'm always inspired by her independence and HBIC spirit.

Emily and I became friends junior year through FFA as well! Emily also kept me sane through high school and survived freshman year of college with me as one of my suitemates at UT. Emily's sense of humor and realness has kept this friendship going strong. There is no better sounding board out there.

Since 1995, Jynsen's been there through it all. In true sibling fashion, Jynsen has annoyed and frustrated me at times, but has also cheered me on in my endeavors and lended a listening ear when needed. I've always admired his free spirit and authenticity.

Kitty joined the Fam in 2005. Over the years, I've enjoyed bugging, playing, and chatting with Kitty while also watching her become the fierce, thoughtful, and spunky teen that she is today.

Being only 6 months apart in age, Kristina and I were inseparable growing up. Many were the nights where we had sleepovers that included playing Waitress (we used Play-Doh to make food and our play cash registers to check out customers), Polly Pockets, and Dance Offs. Kristina is someone who is always true to herself and embodies selflessness through her career and relationships.

Kappa Delta brought DJ Lantz and I together in 2014. Big/Little 2014 was cut-throat and I had to fend off other pledge class members to gain Danielle as my little. Through college, Danielle was always that friend I could text at any time for advice or a good chat. She was the one who made me have fun (sometimes I can be a bit of a couch potato) and introduced me to many of my friends today. Of course, it can't go without mentioning that she was the one who introduced me to Trent so I owe her BIG time!

Kappa Delta was also the link that brought me and Brooke together. Since she was Danielle's roommate in college, we spent many nights partaking in Power Hours, exploring Raleigh bars, and playing lots of card games. After college, Brooke has been that friend who plans fun getaways with friends, introduces me to the most cost effective deals (hello, Aldi!), and always listens.

My friendship with Marydith came to be during a year when I needed it most. Teaching across the hall from me, Marydith is that friend that listens after a bad day, makes me laugh until my sides hurt, and knows how to provide support in any endeavor. There is no better person to watch The Bachelor or dish about bad dates with. Everyone needs a Marydith!

Allison and I met in 2020 after Nick and her moved into the Bradford. Nick and Trent knew each other prior thanks to golf. We all agreed to a dinner at Brixx (located right across the parking lot) and that was where I met Allison. Allison is a ray of sunshine! Her laugh is infectious and we share a love of reality TV, dogs, and good music. Want a friend who is easy to talk to and makes you laugh? Get you an Allison.

My dad has been my coach, mentor, and role model my whole life. He's my best man and the best example of what I want to be when I grow up. Between him and my grandfathers, I couldn't ask for better examples of how to have a successful marriage.

Brooks is my younger brother and one of the strongest people I know in every sense of the word. I couldn't imagine going through the biggest day of my life without him and it's important to me to have him standing by my side. There are only two people in the wedding party that can outdrive me, Brooks is one.

Dylan and I first became friends in elementary school. After we went to different high schools we randomly ended up a few doors apart on the 9th floor of Sullivan residence hall at NC State. Since then he's been one of my best friends and was the first of my friends to notice that "I changed" after I met Ashley.

Outside of my family, AJ is the person I have lived with the longest. Going back to high school, depending on the year he's either been the Marshall to my Ted or the Ted to my Marshall. We survived our year abroad and he's been a great friend, fantasy baseball commissioner, and podcast co-host ever since.

Josh is one of my best friends from high school and has been the life of the party for most of the parties I've been to in the past decade. A great guy who is always fun to be around. Blake has been a great friend of mine since our freshman year of college and has been there for literally every step of the way for my relationship with Ashley since he was at the function where we met for the first time. I think everyone needs a friend like Blake, a role model for his friends who is always down for a good time.

Kurtis is another good friend who I met during my freshman year of college. He's been the other half of the offense on some of the most formidable 4 v. 4 Tuesday night co-ed sand volleyball teams in Apex such as Yeetsie Railroad, Yam'n'Cheese, and Yuge Calves. Kurtis is a true ride-or-die and has been there for the entirety of the time I've known Ashley.

Nick is a fellow golf junkie who I first met playing the Cradle at Pinehurst Resort and we've since played many rounds. Nick and his better half, Allison, have been great friends to Ashley and me and it was important to us to have them be a part of our wedding day. Nick is the other member of the wedding party that can outdrive me.

Similar to my friendship with Dylan, Corey and I first became friends in elementary school and then were reunited at NC State. My friendship with Corey is how I met Ashley, so I'll forever be grateful for that. He's always been there for Ashley and me and definitely had to be part of our wedding day.
