Due to this being a destination wedding we respectfully request RSVPs by or before September 1st, 2022! Please let us know if any plans change, so we can provide an accurate headcount for our vendors.
Please arrive at the church around or before 11:50am, as the church doors will be closing at 11:55am.
Please keep phones on silent and tucked away during the ceremony. We are having professional photography and videography taken throughout the day and will share those photos with guests. You may take pictures during the second line and reception. Thank you!
This is the time for you to relax and have fun in the best city ever! We respectfully request for children to stay home.
Please only bring those who are listed on your RSVP, the venue has a limited amount of space. Thank you!
Conservative short or long cocktail dress will be appropriate for women and dark slacks and suit jackets will be appropriate for men.
Yes! Beer, liquor and white wine will be served. No red wine will be served due to the venue policy.
There is extremely limited street parking for the ceremony and no parking for the reception. We recommend taking an Uber/Lyft to the ceremony, transportation will be provided to take everyone from the ceremony to the beginning of the second line location. Another option to get to the ceremony is to take the Trolley, although it will take over an hour to get 4.5 miles from the Quarter to the church by Trolley.
The reception will end promptly at 6pm. Please be prepared to call an Uber/Lyft to get back to your hotels. You can also take public transportation, such as the St. Charles trolley, stop located 3 blocks away at Euterpe and St. Charles about a 25 minute trip to the Quarter or take the Camp Street bus locate 1 block away at Camp St. and Terpsichore, about a 16 minute trip to the Quarter.
A second line is a parade that signifies the beginning of a new life together. Usually, the second line brings the wedding guests and bridal party from the ceremony to the reception. The newlyweds lead the procession, umbrellas in hand, while the wedding party and guests follow the band with handkerchiefs. Our second line will only be 6 blocks and drinks will be provided!
There are two options to use public transportation. The one we recommend is downloading the Le Pass RTA app on your phone and purchase a 1-Day Jazzy Pass, that will last 24 hours or a 3-Day Jazzy Pass. A regular 1-Day Jazzy Pass cost $3.00, Senior/Disabled pass is $0.80 and a youth is $1.00. A 3-Day Jazzy pass cost $8.00 no matter the age. This pass will also allow you to take the Ferry in the Quarter if you wish to do so. The second option would be to pay cash each time you get on the trolley, $1.25, $0.40 or $0.50 depending on age, one way. Senior is 65+. Note: If you want a 1-Day Jazzy pass we recommend you download the app prior to arriving to give you time to create an account. Please contact us if you have issues with downloading or using the app. They may also have on sale weekend passes on the app.
Depending on what you want to do when you visit determines where you’d like to stay. Two hotels, the Wyndham and the Sheraton are both located in the French Quarter. If you want to spend most of your time in the quarter I would recommend these. The other hotels are located in or around the Garden District, where the wedding is located. There are many casual things to do on Magazine Street and places to eat near by. You can always easily visit either area by streetcar/bus/taxi.
If staying in the Quarter most everything is accessible by foot. If staying outside of the Quarter or would wish to leave the Quarter we recommend the Trolley system or Uber/Lyft.
No, parking is very expensive around the Quarter and scarce.
Please join us in the Quarter after the reception to continue to celebrate! Details to be given the night of.
