Beach
Enjoy the day on the beach! There is Okanagan Beach or Skaha Lake Beach nearby.
Wine tour
There are tons of wine tours to do in Kelowna, Penticton and Osoyoos areas! If you like white wine, there are more wineries in Penticton, if you like red, go further south where it is warmer to Osoyoos.
Water activities
- Penticton Boat Rentals operates out of the Skaha Lake Marina, offering kayaks, stand up paddle boards, waverunners, surfboats, ski-boats and pontoons. - Penticton Boat Club & Rentals on Okanagon Beach has boat rentals. - Pier Water Sports next to the Penticton Lakeside Resort has boats, paddle boards and kayaks.
Farmers’ Markets
Every Saturday morning you can check out the local Penticton farmers market and Wednesday evenings is the Naramata farmers market. Check out the website for more details.
U-Pick and Fruit Stands
Fresh fruits and veggies plucked straight from local farms and orchards.
Kettle Valley Rail Trail
A nice walking or biking trail from Penticton through the Naramata. There is a cute little tunnel and you can stop at wineries along the way!
Biking
There are lots of mountain and cycling trails around the area!
Munson Mountain
Short 1km walk/hike to see panoramic views above Penticton and Okanagan Lake. This is also where the Penticton sign is.
Naramata
Naramata is a cute town 20 minutes north of Penticton. It has some restaurants, a lot of wineries, and its own beach.
