Question

Will transportation be provided to/from the venue?

Answer

Shuttle pickup to the wedding is at 3:45 pm at Penticton Lakeside Resort & Conference Centre. The shuttle will leave promptly at 4:00 pm. Don't be late or you will have to find your own way to Bench 1775! The shuttle will drop people off in Penticton or wherever they are staying throughout the evening if people are leaving before the final shuttle to the after party. The shuttle will take everyone to the after party at 11:00 pm at BritBar. For those not coming to the after party, they will be dropped off after at Penticton Lakeside Resort & Conference Centre.

What are you doing for the bar?

Answer

A cash bar will be available with beer, wine, hi‑balls, and non‑alcoholic options. CASH ONLY—we’ll be using a ticket system and cannot accept cards. Drinks are 3 for $10.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation. You can also view whether you have a plus one on the RSVP page on our wedding website. We appreciate your understanding.

Is there a room block at a hotel available?

Answer

We have a room block at Penticton Lakeside Resort & Conference Centre. For 2 queen beds it is $229 (city view) and 1 king bed is $283 (lakeview). Please call 1-250-493-8221 to book and say it is under the Tran-Noseworthy room block.

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a fun night out!

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We’d love for guests to dress in semi-formal attire - think suits and short or long dresses. Please avoid jeans or overly casual outfits. Our bridal party will be wearing shades of rose/blush pink. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so consider a light layer for cooler evening temperatures.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. If it rains we will have umbrellas for the ceremony and the reception will be moved into the Bench 1775 indoors Bistro area.

Will there be dinner? What should I do if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes, we will have dinner and canapes! If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please be sure to include them on your RSVP and we will be able to make accommodations for you.
